The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face.
The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow).
At this time, there are no specific vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. However, there are many ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments. WHO will continue to provide updated information as soon as clinical findings become available.
GoI’s app to connect health services with the people of India to fight COVID-19
Aarogya Setu is a mobile application developed by the Government of India to connect essential health services with the people of India in our combined fight against COVID-19. The App is aimed at augmenting the initiatives of the Government of India, particularly the Department of Health, in proactively reaching out to and informing the users of the app regarding risks, best practices and relevant advisories pertaining to the containment of COVID-19.
Today, a total of 21,317 tests were conducted in the state, which is about 2.5 TET per million per day, taking into account the state's population. So far a total of 13,8,8 tests have been conducted in the state. Today, a total of 1,8 cases have been registered in various districts of the state, 1 OL) and 09 M in other states. Today, 1,018 patients have recovered and gone home. To date, a total of 2,01,9 persons have been quarantined in different districts of the state out of which 2,00,8 persons are home quarantine and 21 persons have been placed in facility quarantine.
